Sound Studio
ROAR RADIO is a new grassroots music and sound project for people with learning disabilities in North Norfolk and the wider community.
From September 2025 – December 2026 participants will access weekly sessions in the Barrington Farm Sound Studio to take part in a rich and varied range of experimental and traditional music making and sound making activities.
The project is focused on sharing the rich stories of the place and its people through the production of recordings, radio broadcasts and performance.
The project is led by sound artist, Oliver Payne with collaborating artists including Amy Nomvula, Johann Don Daniel, Rob Terrestrial and SOUNDYARD (Anna Perrott and Sophie Little).
This project is kindly supported by Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council Arts Project Fund and The Barrington Farm Trust.
The Barrington Farm Sound Studio is available for private hirings, offering room hire alongside fully recorded sessions with an experienced engineer. For more information contact here
